Busy weekend

Arini selangor cuti.
buek jeles. since i work in KL area.
Hows ur weekend?

Im so sleepy because i dun get enuff sleep over the weekend.
Actually last week seminggu tinggal sorg2 as husband g Indon.
Tp tak mahu bising di fb n blog takotla mana tau ada orang ngendap dpn rumah.

Last week we received bad news about our atuk's health condition.
It's a thing called cancer.
We pray he will getting better.

So saturday lawat atuk kat umah pakcik kat kajang, singgah wed abg Rico, hantar adik ke uitm shah alam n balik masak2 sbb parents n sis dtg umh. hehe a bit kelam kabut sbb rushing tp okla walaupon dinner ku tak se 'kick' selalu. ahaha prasan.

Sunday, amik husband di airport, singgah rumah mertua, g ikea buy some house stuffs and balik umh siapkan kjr2 freelance.

Sounds really busy rite? but im happy been surrounded by family, husband n not forgetting out rabbit, Mong.

Hehe petang2 bawak dia g main kat playground dpn rumah dapatla dia lari2 sket.
Pastuh anak neighbour nangis cakap kat mak dia nk rabbit gak.
maid dia yg btau aku. huhu abesla sure mak dia anti aku. smer salah 'Mong' saper suh pretend to be cute in front of kids.

Sekarang husband is here, i felt happy sbb boleh buat kerja semua sama2.
Semalam i bawak baju2 kemeja alip nk antar g dobi utk gosok sbb x smpt gosok over the weekend.
Tp husband kata eh takper2, dia nak gosok. Dia kata from now on dia akan tolong buat kerja2 rumah as much as he can.

Alhamdulillah. Sejuk hati saya.
Semoga rumahtangga kami kekal selamanyer.
So far, I am blessed with our new phase of life. :)

At Rico's brother's wed last weekend.
Best tau if ada adik beradik fashion designer sbb Rico buatkan baju pengantin dan adik beradik dia dan pengapit dan parents dia dan pelamin dan guestbook table....

Saya perasan model masa wedding days saya je. Time tuh mmg puas ati pose depan camera. :p

Henna

I plan to stop writing in this blog by end of December.
Thinking to create another personal blog but havent have time yet to create 1.
By dat means i need to rush do all the reviews.
Tak kisahla ada org nak baca lagi or tak hihi since the objective i create this blog earlier to share all my wed preps experiences with the other readers and any future b2b. :)

So today about henna.
Actually i had 2 session of doing henna.
1 with my childhood bestie, epie.
Thank you epie susah2 datang lepas kerja tolong pakaikan.
Mom has 3 tube henna from Mecca might as well use it right?
I thought to just do the basic one on fingers but the next day my auntie said it's not red enough.
Epie buat sangat kemas. Malam2 memang merah tp esoknyerh lepas basuh2 pinggan kurang merah plak.

Luckily i book session with Kak Dewi in case this thigs happened.
So henna done by Kak Dewi.
I dunno her full name since she asked me to just called her Kak Dewi.
She has her own henna booth at Dataran Penggaram Batu Pahat.
For wedding/engagement, she's willing to come to ur house do henna for u.
Her price are from RM80-RM100.
RM100 is full set dengan kaki.

So i choose the simple one.
Actually patot tunggu 2 jam tp neyrh time tuh ada drama pelamin sikit terpaksa basuh tangan awal n terkembang sikit inaiku. sobs. takperla. tak ketara sangat kembangnyerh.
Im sure inai tuh akan lebih cantik kalau basuh lambat sket. sbb supposely kena buang ngn tisu dulu baru basuh. I mmg tak sempat tros basuh herms so terkembang sket.
Tp still sangat merah.
I buat 2 hari awal. Sabtu pagi kawen, i buat ngn kak dewi kamis malam sbb taknak kelam kabut on friday nite. which i think it's the right decision.

After basuh. hitam sikit.

Tp esok nyerh ok la tak nampak itam tuh sgt. Dia jadi merah.

Ni jerh gambar yang nampak dengan kaki. hehe. Kaki nyerh design pon i choose the simple one.

Ibadat

Past few weeks, i feel tired doing all houseworks and at the same time struggle with my office works and freelance stuffs.

Until my mom remind me last weekend buat kerja2 rumah tuh ibadat. Dapat pahala jika buat dengan ikhlas.

Baca blog my sis pon she said the same thing.

So past few days i try buat dengan hati terbuka ikhlas kerana Allah, dan dengan penuh kasih sayang terhadap suami ecece.

Perasaan penat tuh tak terasa sgt seperti awal2.

Rasa lebih tenang walaupon still tak cukup masa 24 jam tuh.

I started to get use with wake up early as 6.50am and arrive office before 9am.

I feel more rilex and calm.

However life always have it's own challenges.

When i feel i able to cope doing wife job, office demands more from me.

People expecting more from u when u earn more at this age.

I know wut the hell rite? but again i try to calm myself, convince myself by saying kerja kat ofis pon ibadat.

Sabar and cuba jugak double up the effort.

Niat kerana Allah dan i will try my best to satisfy each of them.

Husband said bear with it and try to aim this is my last work and hopefully next year gonna be my last year working under people.

InsyaAllah will work hard for that and aim for it!

Makeup by Ayang Kamell

Remember my last entry on Makeup?
At first i memang nk pilih mak andam biasa2 je kat Batu Pahat but bila survey2 takder satu pon yang berkenan!
Memang pening. 2nd option amik dari KL.
Alang2 amik dari KL, baik amik yg terbaik.
or dari kalangan yang terbaik. hihi

Macam entry yang lepas, pilih makeup artist yg sesuai mcm carik jodoh!
Harga, availability and PR dorg sangat memainkan peranan penting.
Akhirnyerh mungkin dah tertulis yang makeup saya dirias oleh Ayang Kamell.

Alhamdulillah sangat senang deal ngn Ayang.
Dahla datang awal. Kol 7pagi dah smpai rumah. 8.30 dah abes makeup siap ada byk masa utk pose puas2 dlm bilik. hihihihi

Both my akad nikah n reception makeup done by him.

Seksa u olls~ naseb dah prektis few days b4.
Tp masa buat outdoor pukul 6 petang tuh dah rasa nk pitam sbb mata dah sgt kabur yang amat.
Kena beli liquid utk kasik mata fresh if wedding 1 ari suntuk kie.
But i gave my best for the outdoor shooting walaupon mata dah kabur sgt mcm cermin keter di kala cuaca berjerebu. hahaha

Everyone love ur makeup.
n i received alot of emails regarding to it.
Ayang based in KL not in Batu Pahat.
If anyone needs recommendation any makeup artist/mak andam from batu pahat mintak maap byk2 sbb mmg tak dpt tolong.

Maybe boleh tgok blog foto by razali n if u like the bride's makeup, can ask them?
Normally the bride will comment in the related blog post with their FB account.
I hope this helps sbb i tau susah sgt bab makeup ni kalo nk cari at the bp area.

Tudung, Shawl, Veil

1. Akad Nikah
Selama ni tak pernah pakai tudung awning. Then akad nikah terasa nak sgt pakai tudung awning tp puas la carik yg sesuai tak jumpa~ try semua pon nmpak boolat muka. until i try at Hajra sebelah Jakel shah alam. Ohs rupanyerh yang sesuai di muka ku material dia lycra. Dapat color soft pink suka giler ok. sbb susah sgt nk cari color dusty pink. Hehe tp taknak pakai tuh smata i nk make it as inner. So i padankan ngn shawl RM10 i beli kat small boutique at Batu Pahat. Harga tudung lycra awning ni FREE. hehe jap g cter. But puas ati sgt sbb tak perlu membazir kat tudung . Alhamdulillah cost tudung utk akad nikah = RM10.

2. Reception at Batu Pahat
Pas dapat baju Rico pening plak style aperkah untuk tudungku. Sebab dari awal terasa mcm taknak pakai veil. nk somethg different. Pastu terasa nak pakai anak tudung mysaa tp pening mana nak cari color gold/cream? Siap msg Renee sbb ada satu link Renee post dulu bride tuh pakai mysaa anak tudung mmg berkenan sgt hati. then bride tuh ckp buat ngn Qudyn aziz. agak2 la kan. perlukah aku membzir lagi untuk reception satu ari? hehe kalau dgn designer tuh ntah baper ntah nti kena charge. So google la 'maysaa anak tudung' dengan harapan byk la vendor2 dah buat trend ni dgn harga murah. Jumpa lah blog ni. Haha harga tak murah tp beli jugak color gold sbb rasanyerh akan match. Puas ati 3 ari je dpt.

Pastuh matching kan ngn shawl chiffon RM10 beli kat Batu Pahat. n outer kena la liplap sket g Hajra ohs suka nyerh byk sgt pilihan dengan harga tak mencekik darah spt di Arianni. Tp veil jenis pendek yg i nk dah takder color mcm gold or cream. sobs dah lama eyeing tp tak beli2 last2 tak dpt beli.

So second option is tudung siti ni. okla it turns out not bad. I can be trendsetter too hahaha. now go and mix n match ur maysaa anak tudung with this tudung siti. ker dah common aku jer baru tau? haha wuteva. Mahal sikitla tudung siti beading ni tp rasanyerh sgt berbaloi sbb boleh sewakan or boleh pakai masa raya? but i rasa i akan sewakan sekali dengan baju reception nanti. Ohs beli tudung siti ni dpt free any tudung lycra tuh. yahoo. so dats explain naper tudung lycra td free.

Total cost, tudung siti beading (RM150 with free lycra tudung) + anak tudung maysaa (RM60) = RM210

Pose ala2 jelita. hahaha

3. Reception at Putrajaya
Sebab dah terbeli chiffon 1 layer kat Arianni (mahal cekik darah tol arianni ni. RM30 kot! padahal kat jalan tar lepas beli terjumpa RM10 jerhhh!) so padankan ngn maysaa putih. Beli kat blog yang sama.
Total cost, chiffon mahal arianni (RM30) + anak tudung maysaa (RM60) = RM90
*Kalau nak save cost, beli je plain shawl putih biasa yg RM10 tuh. Byk jual kat kedai2 tudung biasa kat any Giant.

Kesimpulan: Beli anak tudung maysaa sangat berbaloi sbb skrg tengah in, and boleh suai padan untuk aper2 event pon.

Veil
Tak dapat gambar dari belakang betul2 dari OP so takleh nk tunjuk. Apapon sangat puas ati veil akad nikah yg Rico tolong alter kan. I just request plain veil with patch kat hujung belakang bukan kat kepala.

Veil Reception Putrajaya by Nik mmg tak puas ati ngn beading nyerh but wuteva la. time tuh rasa veil tuh tak memberi impact yang besar di gambar pon. Janji ada. ^-^

Reception Attire at Batu Pahat

This gonna be my favourite entry of all.

My Reception dress by Rico Rinaldi 
Percaya tak masa buat dress ni adalah 4 bulan setengah before my wedding.
Sebab time tuh bila estimate budget alamak macam tak ckup nk tempah dress ngn tailor mahupon designer.
So start survey few boutiques. Memang weekend g butik kawen la test2 baju.
Tapi ada jerh tak kena.
Samada harga sewa baju gila gabeng smpai 1-2k untuk dress jer tuh.
Kalau sewa smpai begituh harga nyerh mmg tak berbaloi la rasanyerh.
Nak buat kat tailor pon cecah RM600.
Masih rasa tak berbaloi sbb tuh harga belum masuk kain.
Nanti campur kain lalalala sure cecah 1k gak.
aihs..so mmg pending n malas nk pk.
Pastuh tak tau design cmner yg aku nak.

Prob is concept kat batu pahat adalah garden. But i tak rasa nak pakai modern since Putrajaya concept dah modern.
So traditional tp i mmg taknak kebaya.
Bila cakap nak pakai dress sopan, mak dah bebel2 takot dress tuh nampak tak senonohla aperla.
Mak kata ni kat kampung nanti orang cakap aper plak padahal dress cmner pon aku taktau. haha.

Tuh yang g Jakel padahal teman mak n adik beli kain dorg, ntah cmner terasa nak beli kain for my reception tanpa discuss dulu ngn husband.
Rilek je beli kain.
Dah beli pening plak nak hantar kat saper n fashion aper nk buat.

Gamble je g Kajang jumpa Rico with my friend since husband i di Arab bekerja time tuh.

Apa yang buat saya terharu sangat2, time tuh appointment kol 5 petang kot.
Sampai2, Rico yang time tuh tengah melayan customer kat meja dia, bangun dan sambut n salam saya di muka pintu and keeps on saying sorry sebab saya kena menunggu jap sebab dia tak habis lagi layan customer.
Wah, bagi saya dats a good sign.

Sebenarnyerh saya takder la kesah sgt nk tunggu pon sbb tak rush nak ke mana2. huhu
So borak2 la ngn assistant dia sambil go tru his portfolio.
Tengok2 eh rupanyerh dia lagi muda dari saya.

Pas setengah jam kot or 20 mins baru la discussion dia ngn customer tuh habis.
n dia suh customer2 tuh salam n say sorry dari saya sbb dorg sampai lambat n terambil slot time saya. Gituhla.
Terkjut gak haha tak sangka walaupon dia tak kenal saper saya tapi dia respect saya smpai tahap cmtuh.
For me, if attitude ok, InsyaAllah everythgs gonna b ok.

Since i roughly dah tau cmner i nk, so i just show him few pics as reference and my sketches as well.
Also i asked for his availability and his opinions on my dress.
Pastuh i asik ckp sorry tau...material i simpleeee ajerhhhh biasalah low budget.
ahahaha i cuma ckp do his best.
N then dia tanyerh budget i baper.

Price dia slightly over my budget but i faham la nama pon designer.
Pastuh dia suh i pk dulu ok or tak.
Then i pk balik, hermssss rasa ok la walaupon lari sket.
Tak byk sgt.
So okla just proceed.

First fitting pon dia yang ingtkan haha sbb i busy giler kat opis.
Bila dtg fitting tros menjerit kesukaan sbb suka padahal time tuh loose lagi. But suka sbb rasa mcm princess habis.
Rasa baju ni confirm mak i suka. Sebab sopan n cantik.
2nd fitting longgar sket bahagian lengan sbb i dah kurus kot but takperla sbb dia ketatkan on the dot tunggu setengah jam cmtuh dah siap dah.

I tak buat veil ngn dia sebab haha again on budget. tight budget la dekat2 wedding.
Ingat nak sewa jer dari sesaper or beli veil murah2 dari mana2 butik.
Gituhla sbb i rasa baju tuh da cantik so i tak perlu worry much about the veil.

Anyway, yeah dia tau i blogger since i mention i knew him tru Adlin hehe.
But for me first impression is always right.
It's really easy deal with Rico.
He is very humble, polite and so kind.

In fact if i knew him from beginning, i should just send all my dresses to him.
You guys should visit his boutique.
Alot of pretty dresses with nice beadings.
Sigh.
For me it's worth every penny.
Cutting pon sedap. sebab tak ketat. Just nice to my body.

Groom's attire by Azika Collection
Dari awal, mmg dah pk nak sewa jer baju Alip since tengok baju2 kat Azika Collection cantik sangat untuk lelaki, terletak kat badan.
My husband is a bit fussy like me.
Sebab susah sangat nk carik tempat sewa baju lelaki yang kemas, cantik n murah.
Cuma dorg ni kena improve customer servis dorg sket kot.
Ada staff dia yang nama ila tuh baik sangat. Yang lain2 tuh mak aih, sangat la sombong.
So i mmg call ila je. Takder ila ni, malas nk deal ngn lain2.
Sewa pon harga dia sangat affordable compare to the other places.

I pilih color cream sbb senang nanti nak sewa untuk baju Alip sbb cream color common untuk wedding. :p
Alhamdulillah naseb baik color kitorg masuk sangat2.

Again, thanks to Rico Rinaldi yang baik sangat melayan i walaupon i bukan artis. Juga tak pernah cancel our appointment and sabar melayan i especially sbb tolong alter veil akad nikah i yang hampir disaster made by the other designer tuh.

If Rico being able to keep his low profile attitude ni, InsyaAllah I believe he can go really far.
I can see his passion and talents in him.
Tak pelik kalau satu hari nanti dia akan jadi sehebat Rizalman.
Yang penting dia kena jaga kualiti setiap kerja dia.
Seperti mana yang kita tau hasil kerja rizalman sangat halus dan tersendiri kan.

For me Rico akan jumpa style dia sendiri jugak nanti.

Akad Nikah Attire

Indah jugak masuk ofis awal.
Ofis start kol 9 pagi. sekarang 8.30 tepat da smpai ofis. Siap dah breakfast dari rumah.
Hebat kan? Something that i never do for all this while. Haha.
I always arrive office on time or slightly 10 mins late? :p
Sekarang kan share 1 keter ke tempat kjr, so suami hantar i dulu.
Walaupon i dah offer nak hantar dia luh, tp dia taknak. Sebab dia masuk 8.30 pagi.
Hurms so dia lambat sket smpai i plak terawal. Camner tuh.

Anyway, arini tentang akad nikah attire.

Lepas dah decide nak color apa, i msg few bloggers asked for how many meter for the materials that they bought for their attire.
Thanks to Miss Yuyu and Sab yang baik melayan email saya.
So carikla kat kedai beli.
It's my first time buy lace and chiffon by myself.
I have the idea in my mind like how it suppose to be, but not sure if the designer able to do it or not.

The drama
The materials really pretty, and i feel the execution can be improved better if the designer put much effort on it.
But to my disappointment, it was herms almost become disaster.
I had 5x fitting with the designer - and imagine i had to travel from kelana jaya (which famously known for it's terrible jam at LDP after work) to shah alam for so many time just to make sure it was perfect to my body.
The last fitting, i gave up and just said ok to it - with deep disappointment inside.
I send to a tailor - ask to alter it a bit - make it loose, because the designer make it too fitted.
No, im not gain any weight at all, In fact, i lose weight.
I dun understand y the designer make it too tight at the first fitting.
Isn't any designer shud know that first fitting, shud make it loose - 2nd fitting, shud be better.
Even the chinese tailor told me, it was bad executed, and takkan the designer tak fikir this is for akad nikah, which i have to duduk bersimpuh kat bawah. If duduk, pakai ketat2, memang seksa la badan kan.
If the chinese tailor can think like dat, isn't it weird the designer not be able to think the same way?
Hurms, but i redha. Benda dah berlaku.

Yaps, i shud be thankful for at least he still wants to alter it.
Even tho he keeps on cancel our appointment.
Sorry to say, but we really had bad experience with him.
Perhaps i shud say im a blogger from the very beginning, and maybe he will treat me nicer?

Maybe other people have great experience with him, but for us, it's almost become a nightmare.
Actually the outcome not like wut you see in the picture.
I dah tangalkan beading yang pelik n nampak weird.
Bayangkan i tak boleh tido bila tengok beading yang berserabut.
So i decided to tanggalkan the beading and make it simple just like dat.
Yes, at the end, the attire looks nice and pretty altho i knew i cant fit into that anymore after this since it was too fitted to my body.

The veil
I have to ask my other designer to alter it since i dah nak muntah darah deal with him.
I tak kisah if nak patch lace kat bahagian atas, tapi make it nicer. Ni bila i tgok pon, herms i rasa sedih.
Nak taknak terpaksa make pity face ask my other designer to help to alter it.
Nasib baik my other designer baik sangat nak tolong.
Actually for akad nikah, i nak simple ajerh tp cantik.
Pastuh tgok gambar2 baju kat FierNawal i rasa sedih sbb they can execute better.
The materials lebih kurang sama, tp bayangkan FierNawal yang baru bertapak kurang setahun pon mampu buat lebih cantik.

Anyway, benda dah lepas.
Im sorry i terpaksa ceritakan jugak. Ambil masa yang lama untuk i decide nak cerita or tak.
Sebab i rasa ni memang betul2 satu penganiayaan.
I hope other brides 2 be berhati2 dlm memilih designer yang betul.
Ni kisah betul.
Mungkin orang lain menerima layanan yang sempurna dan tak seteruk saya.

Nanti, bila dah sedia, i akan sewakan untuk sesiapa yang berminat kie.
Sekarang i tgh busy. hehe

p/s: I really had GREAT experience working with the other designer. Macam langit dan bumi layanan yang diberikan padahal harga lebih kurang je for all attires. Itu i ceritakan di entry seterusnyerh ok. :)

Baju akad nikah yang akhirnyerh cantik jugak di badan dengan 1001 cerita di belakang.
5x fitting with the designer, 1x altered by tailor, veil altered by other designer.

I still feel the outcome can be nicer if the execution can be improve. wuwuu. takperla benda dah lepas.

I taknak mengaibkan sesiapa dalam hal ni. Tapi pengalaman yang i lalui sangat menyakitkan.

It's something that i have forgive but i can never forget.

Yang penting i taknak other brides to be lalui apa yang i lalui.

Sebab i tau susah nyerh kita semua bekerja keras mencari rezeki halal and we want the best for our wedding.

Yet, we've been treated like this.

Pelamin Akad Nikah and Reception at Batu Pahat

I have plenty artworks to submit yet im still blogging.

Pelamin was beautifully done by Syura Bridal House.
You can read my previous entry on how i do my research.
I did little survey on few boutiques in Batu Pahat but most of the boutique/shops close during that time.
So, without wasting time, i follow my heart to just choose vendor from JB.
Reason is, i dun want to have any headache for my big day later. huhu

You know Syura, bekas penyanyi traditional tuh?
Hehe yeah it's her. Rite now she focus on her bridal boutique.
She still looks pretty when first i saw her.
and terkejut bila menjelang my big day, dia tengah menunggu hari for her 3rd child.
How time flies. Because i book her 10 months before my wedding.

Still, she gave her full commitment on my pelamin.
The team came early, Friday evening to setup everything until midnite.
Few days after my big day, she delivered her 3rd baby. huhu naseb tak terberanak on my wed. :p

For past 10 months, believe it or not i just deal with her tru emails and she responded very fast.
Masa awal2 jumpa, i dah tunjuk gambar semua macamana i nak.
So bila email, senang la. Just to confirm everythg. Just on akad nikah pelamin jerh pending on design n color.
n i just did stupid thg!
On the last email to her to finalize things, i accidentally send wrong info on how pelamin i want.

Sepatutnyerh pelamin akad nikah ku ada kerusi takder belakang. wuwuu. just a simple one. supaya bergambar cantik sket la.
Dahla time tuh tgh pakai inai. tunggu inai kering.
n my 2nd sister helped to deal with the pelamin team since they send the items a day before to set it up.
Since i was busy with my henna, i mintak tolong my sis assist pelamin stuffs.
Bila akakku cakap pelamin akad nikah kat rumah takder kerusi eh rai?

I was like...whattttttttttttt? No way!
Dengan inai tak kering lagi, i teros basuh tangan, I tros called Syura, asked what happen sambil separa bridezilla mode. (Thats explain why my inai nyerh design a bit kembang. Bridezilla lagih saper suh)
Then Syura said isn't that what i had confirmed at my last email?
Dengan bengang tros check email.

There it is. My fault. Biggest mistake.
I ter-paste wrong info on my pelamin at the email.
'Pelamin without kerusi - cushion style'.
Huwaaaaaaa.
Pandai kan?
Lesson here: NEVER reply emails in office!

Dengan hati redha, and stress gak la since everyone mula2 asked y la my pelamin so small yada2.....
tp on my big day, tak sangka, it turns out pretty~ haha
So tips to other brides to be: Sometimes things are out of our control. Rilex. Bersabar. Redha. On big day, just be happy. Trust me, when u r happy, it shows on the face. Pelamin sederhana pon tiba2 nampak cantik n sweet ajerh.

Dengan Syura, korang boleh la request memacam benda2 kecik, dia tak charge sgt.
Contoh, bantal akad nikah, and payung putih. :)

Being wife.

Arini rehat dari update pasal review leh?

hehe sajer nak buat entry santai.
Sekarang pukul 2.26am and i still havent sleep trying my best to complete my freelance job.
Selepas balik dari honeymoon, mmg tader masa lapang lagi.

I think honeymoon is the only time hubby and i stay away from our laptop and we able to spend our quality time together.

After back to malaysia, we received alot of emails related to works. pheww.

Just what we expected.
So sorry if ramai email past few weeks and i lambat reply k.

Tp still susah nyerh la bila mood rehat nak tukar tune buat kjr.
I only have time to unpack our clothes properly and put into cupboard last week.
Which is a week after i totally recover from my illness- demam n batuk.

Tong gas tak bli lagi. Plan nak beli Ahad tp tunda lagi sbb both of us stuck with pile of jobs.

Sabtu sekarang i alternate kjr.
But husband being helpful on houseworks. Alhamdulillah.

Pergi rumah mentua pon dapat tolong mentua masa waktu makan jer la.

Tolong masak n after masak.

After dat stuck in da room try to finish our freelance works again.
Atho mother in law understand our situation but i still feel bad.

Harap situation ni sementara. Husband is sleeping n i cant sleep next to him rite now because if i do, tak dpt la submit kjr mlm ni. wuwuu.

Takper knr be strong. Ramai lagi pasangan yg PJJ as well yang laki bini kjr lain shift kan?
Plus mcm2 dugaan yg setiap orang alami.

Yang penting husband n wife kena saling tolong menolong.
Thats wut we remind each other everyday.

Skrg ni mmg pegang pada motto 'Bersusah2 dulu, bersenang2 kemudian'. :)

Sebelom ada baby bekerja keras la. Nanti da ada baby, takya la struggle sebegini. hihi

Emcee Akad Nikah & Reception

Best jugak lunch tak g memana few days ni.
Rasa ada moment peace sendiri kat ofis.
Sebab dah kahwin ni, setiap saat adalah emas.
Tak boleh berlengah buat kerja, nanti ada jer kerja tak siap and sendiri yang susah hati.
Now i know y my parents laju jerh buat kerja setiap jam.

Hehe so today about Emcee.
Dari tahun lepas lagi bila decide nak kahwin, dah tau dah nak suh saper jadi Emcee.
Tak lain tak bukan my cousin who has 20 years working experience as Emcee in corporate event and weddings.
If bukan dia, serius tak tau nak suh siapa.

Sebab pernah tgok dia jadi Emcee in other cousin nyerh wed. Memang kelakar.
Tp kelakar yg bukan merapik tau. Means lawak tak over. Just nice. Tak mengantuk dan tak annoying.

Cuba angkat tangan baper byk wed yg korg g, dia nyerh Emcee cakap merapik2 and buat lawak syok sindrik?
For me Emcee yang bagus kena pandai handle majlis and tepati aturcara majlis yang telah disediakan.
They should know how to handle any unexpected situation, people or technical errors which commonly happened in any events.

For example, masa akad nikah, i dah cakap kat Alip, takya pantun2, sebab nak buat simple je akad nikah. Tiba2 belah lelaki ada pantun. agagaga. amik ko.
But my cousin rilex je time2 tuh dia pon boleh balas pantun on da dot.

Thanks to my cousin both my akad nikah and reception went well and everyone said Emcee best n bagus.
My akad nikah started at 9am and he arrived as early as 7am. We dun have any rehearsal but we discussed tru emails for past few months before the event. A day before my big day, he called to confirm and discuss about everythg.

For me, Emcee play important role especially when u have 2 in 1 event like mine. I had bertunang and akad nikah at the same time. Alhamdulillah i think both events went well takder kucar kacir  :)

So, anyone who needs his service doing Emcee, can contact him tru his FB here.
Rite now he worked in KL and JB. So privilege to those who stay at this 2 area. hehe

Handbouquets by Daun Sireh Butik Perkahwinan

Sepatutnyerh entry kali ni tentang MC tapi saya terpaksa tukar kepada entry hand bouquet atas sebab2 tertentu yang kalian akan tahu di akhir entry ini.

Hand bouquets adalah antara item last yang saya fikirkan lantaran mengutamakan item2 yang lebih penting dahulu. Sebulan setengah sebelum perkahwinan barulah saya sibuk msg and email beberapa vendor yang saya dah simpan laman facebook mereka and tanyakan tentang harga dan availability mereka.

I dunno why but i really like handbouquets by Daun Sireh Butik Perkahwinan. Walaupon tak banyak lagi koleksi handbouquets dorg lagi time tuh dlm facebook dorg, tp saya dapat rasakan handbouquets yg dorg dah buat for their prev clients menepati citarasa saya.

Terus saya msg dan tanya harga. Kebetulan harga pon ok memenuhi budget saya. Then i send some pics as reference macamana yang saya mahu dan saya hanya follow up few days b4 my wed. Walaupon saya kahwin di Johor tp tetap menggunakan vendor dari KL sbb senang. Saya takot nak take risk ambil dari batu pahat sbb nanti tak puas ati saya juga yg sedih.

Bagi saya handbouquets cantik penting untuk tujuan bergambar. Plus if it's pretty sure akan buat saya lebih berkeyakinan di hari bahagia saya.

Adik saya yang di UITM Shah Alam bebel jugakla sbb dia kena bawak 2 handbouquets saya balik. Kena pegang dalam keter for the whole 3 hours journey since it's fresh flowers. Sebab dorg balik friday nite which is a day b4 my big days. Naseb baik bunga masih dlm keadaan baik bila sampai Batu Pahat n i couldn't stop smiling because both handbouquets are so pretty.

Bunga tahan sampai beberapa hari. 

Sebab suka sangat dengan kedua2 handbouquets, saya msg lagi pemilik Daun Sireh Butik Perkahwinan untuk buat handbouquet saya belah Putrajaya. Alhamdulillah mungkin kami serasi bekerja bersama, dia agree untuk buat walaupon gap cuma kurang 2 minggu. 

Ini ketiga2 handbouquets saya.

Semalam saya dapat tahu melalui laman facebook beliau, yang beliau telah pergi ke pangkuan Ilahi.
Rasa terkejut sbb saya jumpa last masa majlis persandingan saya di Putrajaya semasa beliau menyerahkan handbouquet saya.

Walaupon dapat jumpa sekejap, tp saya dapat rasakan arwah seorang yang baik.

Innalillah Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat di atas rohnyer dan membalas jasa baik beliau.

Catering at Batu Pahat by Dzan Catering

As mention in prev entry, catering food was by Dzan Catering.

Korang takkan menyesal hire dorg because they knew wuts best for ur wed.
They even suggest wut kind of song u shud provide during berarak.
I dun have much time to download any malay songs, luckily they have backup malay songs.
So they kinda good on arranging/mix my english songs with their malay songs.
Altho masa berarak menuju ke dewan, muka aku dah berkerut dgr lagu melayu yang asing di telinga.
It's like bila plak aku download and burn lagu ni?
But masa dalam dewan, i understand they mix the songs. The malay songs that they chose not really bad at all.
Masa berarak tak ingt lagu aper. ahaha i was busy smiling to all cameras and being careful not to step on my own dress. :p

Actually my parents yang cari catering.
I tak tahu menahu.
Tugas i pilih color alas meja.
Menu parents i yang pilih.
Since dorg banyak g wed, im sure the knew well.

But setahu i, catering ni agak femes di batu pahat.
Plus mmg berbaloi, sbb dorg provide dancers as well.
So tak payah pening kepala nak cari penari zapin n joget.:)
We really satisfied with their services.
Rasanyerh food ok dat day. Ramai cakap sedap.

Cuma ada a few things i think they can improve better:-

• Color alas meja patut lebih variety - Provide more soft and pastel colors. Since trends nowadays 2011/2012 are pastel colors. I choose dusty pink because thats da only pastel color in their package! hahaha. 
• They shud change their mic/improve their sound system. Mic ala2 karaoke je. Because i dgr dari atas pelamin, sound tak berapa clear. Im pretty sure it's da mic. See even tho i shud just sit on the pelamin n enjoy the day, i still notice this small lil things. :p

But for me, it just small things. Yang penting we love their services. Efficient ok. Khamis malam dah abes setup pasang semua nyerh.

P/S: Yesterday, i had fever and hubby took care of me. We just move to our house at Damansara and the house still in the mess. Worst is, it's rain after office hour and we were caught in the jam. Hubby had to buy me bubur ayam MCD since i ate nothing from morning and dats the only thing i can digest. I hardly sick, once i sick it's seriously terrible ok. I was shaking and fall asleep in the car during the traffic jam. Our house ceiling got leaking when we reached home and the bedroom got affected a bit with some drain. Hubby have to clean the drain by himself while im so weak straight to bed after took medicine. It was bad day but i believe this is just lil test for us. Hope we will be able to go tru all His tests along this marriage life. InsyaAllah. However, it feels good to have husband on your side, take care of u, and go tru this hard situation together. :)

Entry ini agak senang sikit untuk dikarang. Jadi boleh taip laju2 huhu.

Akad Nikah
Rasanya tahu kan Johor tak boleh buat akad nikah di masjid or surau selepas kes Mawi?
Tak tahu kenapa. Ada yang kata sebab time Mawi kawen, ada kes behind it which i dunno wut lepas tuh tak boleh dah.
Ada yang kata ada kes budak kencing kat masjid sbb tuh tak boleh kahwin kat masjid dah.
Kalau boleh, mmg nak akad nikah kat masjid je supaya tak payah keluarkan perabot rumah. huhu
Tapi buat kat rumah lebih menyeronokkan. Perasaan dia lain. Sebab macam tertunggu2 eh pengantin laki dah smpai belum dah ke belum?
or boleh lah hias bilik pengantin cantik2, and rakam moment debaran sebelum akad nikah tuh.
Priceless moment si dara kan? Hiks
Apapon oleh sbb memang takleh akad nikah di surau or masjid, jadi mmg rumah mak abah jerh la. hehe. Alhamdulillah semua nyerh berjalan lancar seperti yang dirancang.
Buat kat rumah ni penat dia lepas majlis - lipat carpet n angkat perabot masuk rumah. Zzzzzzz

Reception
Yang ni mmg menjadi debatan dari mula lagi.
Abah nak kat dewan.
Mak nak kat rumah.
Saya nak kat dewan.
2 lawan 1 saper menang? :p
Alasan nak buat kat dewan supaya senang takya risau ujan ke aper and lebih selesa untuk semua tetamu yang datang.

Tapi cabarannyer adalah:-
- Dewan ni milik kerajaan. Bila2 ada event government, dorg boleh cancel kita punya event sesukahati.
Bila mak agree ngn dewan, bila dewan dah book, memang kitorg doa tetiap2 ari supaya takderla event government yg clash ngn tarikh kawen - pilihanraya/ceramah g haji ker. u never know.

Ohs kat batu pahat ada satu dewan jer which is Dewan Jubli Intan. Itu yang paling proper la dewannyerh.
Boleh buat kat hotel ker aper tp dewan ni paling besar kot kat batu pahat ni and paling selesa.
Bagi aku, mmg selesa. Tak rasa panas pon. Dewan pon ada aircond.
Alhamdulillah time tuh cuaca pon mmg tak panas sgt n tak ujan. Just nice.
So ok kot.
Yang book dewan ni, parents i yang uruskan. Dorg g kat opis dia atas bus stand.
Tapi dugaan dia dorg ni super strict tau nak letak barang.
Kebetulan vendor pelamin i dari JB, so dorg boleh letak barang malam khamis, bukan jumaat.
So orang dewan sgt particular takleh lambat sgt etc. Naseb la abg ipar tolong settle discuss baik2 cakap ngn dorg. Settle 1 masalah.

Parking kat belakang and depan dewan ni  mmg senang. Takder masalah lah. Cuma keadaan toilet dewan ni kurang pasti hihi sbb pengantin takder masa lak g toilet. :p Mungkin anybody arituh g boleh share?

Sesaper nak kahwin kat sini, betul2 depan dewan ni adalah Hotel Landmark. So senangla untuk sedara mara yang jauh nak duduk menginap. Even i makeup kat situ sebelum gerak ke dewan supaya senang jimat masa.

Ehehe tuh jerh la entry kali ni tentang venue.

My Wedding Reception (overall)

Ok now we go to reception part plak.

Just like akad nikah, i think my reception went well with pretty decor, relax atmosphere, sedara mara yg havoc, rakan2 jauh dan dekat yg sudi dtg memeriahkan majlis i, food yang sedap dan aturcara yang teratur.

I love everythg about it.

It's not grand, but it's pretty enuff for me that i think i cried at the end of the day because i still couldn't believe it that the day has come to the end. ahaha bleyh? rasa happy sgt2.

Special thanks to mom n dad who work hard settle about the catering.
I think catering sgt memainkan peranan penting dalam mana2 majlis kahwin.
Being me, at first im being fussy to control about everythg, lagu aper yg akan dimainkan etc.
Ahaha tp at the end saya redha dah serahkan sesetengah perkara pada mereka.
Tp saya masih ambil tahu tentang aper yg berlaku.
dan aturcara mmg saya amik tahu sbb takot nti tetamu tunggu pengantin lambat sgt ke aper ker kan.

Aturcara:
11-1pm :  Pengantin makeup dan bersiap sedia di Landmark hotel
12pm     : Jamuan makan bermula.
1pm       : Pengantin berarak menuju ke dewan

Pemilihan menu makanan mmg diuruskan oleh mak abah.
When it comes about food and catering, i think they knew better than me.
So far i think everyone happy with the food.

Also thanks to all yang turut menjayakan majlis resepsi ni especially family members yang give their very best, all vendors and i have no complaint at all to any vendors during this reception, MC yang sangat2 membantu majlis berjalan lancar dan tak meleret2, friends yang menjayakan guestbook and photobooth corner, also sedara mara yg tolong kasik doorgifts pada tetamu and yang tolong parents saya menyambut dan melayan tetamu.

Also to both our pengapits. Hiks. u know who u r. Of course there will be special entry for dat. :)

Lastly, thanks to all - friends, sedara mara and 2 bloggers yang sudi datang majlis ni. I tau ramai dari jauh sanggup turun batu pahat. I really2 appreciate that.

 Untuk majlis resepsi, saya memilih tema Garden. Memang dah saya set awal2 lagi nak tema garden taknak lain. Memang jatuh hati abes kat wedding Sarah - blogger.

Bila makeup cantik, baju cantik, of course rasa confident jerh nk melangkah ke dewan untuk majlis resepsi. :)

 Ala dewan dengan hotel sejengkal je. Sebab tuh memilih untuk jalan kaki tak perlu berketer.

Payung putih disediakan oleh my pelamin vendor. Also there will be specific entry for dat.

 Dekorasi dewan yang lovely! Susah tau nak pilih color alas meja. I was in doubt nk pilih alas meja color putih? yellow or green? Time tu buat color combination dlm otak je and i think soft pink will be nice.
Masa pilih color alas meja, baju resepsi pon tak buat lagi and tak decide lagi color aper. hahaha color alas meja lebih penting dari color baju. :p

 Pelamin cantik as per request berjaya direalisasikan oleh vendor saya.
Dah cukup cantik untuk saya.

Pada saya less is more.
Saya suka bila the vendor tak letak byk color on stage, dekorasi yang sederhana n tak melebih2. :)

 Para tetamu memenuhi dewan.

 Saya tak berdebar masa berjalan. More to excited!. Kitorg bersanding kol 1 petang. Awal kan? Hehe saja jer. Spy cukup masa untuk buat outdoor. Plus banyak masa untuk bergambar dengan family, sedara mara dan rakan2.

 

 Kek pon my mom yg uruskan. Cuma rasa dia walnut. Saya kureng sket. Tapi takper sbb as pengantin dah tentu makan sejemput. Yang lain distribute to sedara mara. Saya tak banyak bunyi request kek pengantin. Yang penting bukan color striking. tuh je yg saya btau mak smbil tunjuk contoh gambar kek yang simple2.

 Dancers as part of the catering package. Penari pakai color pink. Suka nyerh saya sbb rasa sungguh rhymes dengan other colors kat dewan ni. hehe saya taktau pon color aper dorg akan pakai. Bagi saya benda tuh minor je tp bila dorg pakai pink arituh, saya rasa happy sgt!
